Clean, comfortable, and efficient

OC Streetcar’s clean technology, easy access, and sleek design will make every ride about more than just where you’re headed—it will be about getting there in comfort and style.

Clean tech for a brighter tomorrow
OC Streetcar will run on electricity, not fossil fuels, helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions, keeping more cars off the road and contributing to a greener tomorrow.
Comfort and access built right in
Hydraulic level boarding and multiple doors will make it easier and faster for anyone to get on board, and spacious interiors include wheelchair areas, priority seating, and space for bikes so everyone can ride in comfort.
Streamlined from the rails up
The entire route of OC Streetcar has been engineered so it will seamlessly co-exists within the city’s hustle and bustle, thanks to enhanced traffic signals, lane designations, and more.

Safety and security for all

When service begins, you’ll ride with confidence knowing OC Streetcar’s team is committed to keeping you safe and comfortable, whether you’re riding in the middle of the day or late at night.

  • Safety built in

From the stops to the cars themselves, you’ll find lighting, railings, signage, and more features designed to keep you safe and comfortable.

  • Security for everyone

With security cameras at every platform and trained team members ready to help in an emergency, you can ride knowing you’re in good hands.

  • Helpful personnel

Team members will be available to help you ride, whether you have a question, need directions, or would like assistance along the way.

More people. More opportunity. More life.

OC Streetcar will allow everyone—longtime residents and first-time visitors—to explore the heritage and character these neighborhoods are best known for. People will live and work in modern, rail-adjacent housing. Workers will more easily reach employers, who will be able to draw from a wider, more diverse talent pool. New businesses and beloved establishments alike will flourish in places with renewed foot traffic, and shoppers and visitors will flow more freely between neighborhoods, turning a trip downtown into a chance to discover what’s been there all along.
