Participate in an OCTA Meeting

Board and Committee meetings are open to the public. This page provides information on attending meetings, providing public comments, and accessing accessibility resources.

Board and Committee meetings are generally held at OCTA Headquarters, unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda. Meeting dates, times, and locations are available on each meeting agenda.

  Parking

Visitor parking is available at OCTA Headquarters.

  • Free for the first 15 minutes
  • $1.50 every 15 minutes thereafter
  • Maximum daily rate of $18.00

  Public Transportation

OCTA bus routes 53, 56, 83, and 453 provide service to OCTA Headquarters.

If traveling by Metrolink, exit at the Orange Station and transfer to Route 453. Exit at Main Street and La Veta Avenue, then walk one block south to OCTA Headquarters.

Members of the public may provide comments during Board and Committee meetings in person, remotely, or in writing.

 

  Speak in Person

Complete a speaker card and submit it to the Clerk of the Board before the item is heard, or notify the Clerk of the agenda item you wish to speak on.

Speakers will be recognized during the appropriate public comment period


  Speak Remotely

Members of the public may participate remotely using Zoom or by telephone.

  Submit Written Comments

Written comments may be emailed to ClerkOffice@octa.net.

To be distributed to the Board before the meeting, written comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on the business day before the meeting.

Please include the meeting date and agenda item number, if applicable.


  Comment Guidelines
  • Public comments are generally limited to three minutes per speaker unless otherwise determined by the Chair.
  • Written comments become part of the public record and are distributed to the Board.
  • Meeting-specific participation instructions are included in each meeting agenda.

OCTA is committed to providing accessible Board and Committee meetings. Information regarding accessibility accommodations and language interpretation is provided below.

 

  Accessibility Accommodations

If you require a disability-related accommodation to participate in a Board or Committee meeting, please contact the Clerk of the Board at least two business days before the meeting.

  Language Interpretation

Members of the public who wish to use their own translator or interpreter during a Board or Committee meeting will have access to a designated interpretation area within the meeting room.

A document rack is also available at OCTA Headquarters for members of the public to share translated versions of meeting agendas.
