On the north side of the station you’ll find plenty of places to shop, dine and play in Mission Viejo. To the south there’s Laguna Niguel and one of the areas most scenic regional parks. We’ve created three unique day trips to give you a taste of the two cities.

    Laguna Niguel Regional Park

    This is a lovely park with two pedestrian bridges that provide access to remote picnic shelters and hiking trails. Turf areas, horseshoe pits, a par course along the park's two-mile jogging trail, two sand volleyball courts, and bicycle trails are available.

    Galactic Challenge

  • Connections

    OC Flex, a shared ride service operated by OCTA, is available for transportation from the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Metrolink station to select areas.

  • Good to Know Before You Go

    • Take your bike onboard the train.

    • Be sure to check the last train departure time for your ride home.

    • Have kids? On weekends, kids up to 17 years old ride free! On weekdays, kids 5 years old and under ride free and those ages 6 and up, including adults, ride all day for only $15 with the new Summer Pass (Memorial Day to Labor Day only)
