Experience one of L.A.’s oldest traditions at the 127th annual Golden Dragon Parade. The colorful procession of lion dancers, dance troupes, music groups and more will make their way through Chinatown starting at Hill Street and Temple. The parade coincides with a free Lunar New Year festival in the Central Plaza!
The Metro A Line drops you off a block away from the parade route on N. Broadway. The official start of the parade is at N. Hill Street and Old Street.
Taking Metrolink on the weekends won’t break the bank! Adults, ride as much as you want Saturday or Sunday for just $10. Kids 17 and under ride free. Each paying adult can bring up to three kids for free! All monthly ticket holders ride for free on weekends, plus seniors, disabled riders, and students save 50% off the Weekend Day Pass so if you qualify, you will ride for $5 on weekends.
Take the OC line to LA Union Station, then transfer free to the Metro A Line towards APU/Citrus College and exit Chinatown Station.
