Bus Service Change Improvements

The OC Bus Service Change Improvements summarize adjustments designed to improve service reliability. Updates include schedule adjustments to better connect with school bell schedules, Metrolink trains, and enhance on-time performance across the system.
Highlight of This Service Change – Return of the OC Fair Express for 2026
Fair Express Routes: 633, 650, 662, 670, 683, 688.
On weekends, riders can catch the OC Fair Express approximately every 30 minutes from these six locations:
- Anaheim – Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC), 2626 E. Katella Ave.
- Fullerton – Fullerton Park-and-Ride, 3000 W. Orangethorpe Ave.
- Huntington Beach – Goldenwest Transportation Center, 7301 Center Ave.
- Irvine - Irvine Train Station, 15215 Barranca Pkwy.
- Laguna Hills – Laguna Hills Transportation Center, 24282 Calle de los Caballeros
- Santa Ana – Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center (SARTC), 1000 E. Santa Ana Blvd.
Minor Schedule Adjustments
The following routes received adjustments to improve on-time performance and regional connections:

Summer Schedule Adjustments

Routes Details
Route 25
Weekdays: Reduce frequency from 30 to 45 minutes during peak hours.
Route 30
Weekdays: Reduce frequency from 30 to 45 minutes after 6 p.m.
Route 33
Weekdays: Reduce frequency of service from 30 to 40 minutes.
Route 35
Weekdays: Reduce frequency from 30 to 45 minutes after 6:30 p.m.
Route 46
Weekdays: Reduce frequency from 30 to 45 minutes after 6 p.m.
Route 50
Weekdays: Reduce frequency from 15 to 18 minutes during peak hours.
Route 70
Weekdays: Reduce frequency from 20 minutes (short alignment) / 40 minutes (long alignment) to 25 minutes (short alignment) / 50 minutes (long alignment) during peak and midday hours.
Route 83
Weekdays: Add a new school tripper (NB 8:07 a.m., Mon-Thurs) due to No Conservatory days (May 4 - June 2).
