The Orange County Transportation Authority (Authority) invites proposals from qualified firms to provide used waste, oil, antifreeze, gasoline filters, brake fluid recycling and disposal services on an as-needed basis.

The purpose of this document is to answer frequently asked questions related to the Orange County Transportation Authority’s (OCTA) policy for the storage, return, sale, and destruction of lost personal property that is found on OCTA’s owned and leased property, including OCTA buses.

As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability in Orange County, OCTA has made available $3 million in competitive funding and issued a call for projects aimed at improving overall water quality in Orange County.

Orange County voters told us to prioritize the environment. For decades, we’ve kept that promise. Seven properties have been purchased and permanently preserved as open space and ensure OCTA’s wilderness preserves will remain forever protected from development.

“OCTA has earned a strong reputation for delivering a reliable and sustainable transportation system for Orange County by continually looking at current and future needs,” said OCTA Chairman Gene Hernandez, also the mayor of Yorba Linda.

Our mission is to develop and deliver transportation solutions to enhance the quality of life and keep Orange County moving.

OCTA works in accordance with South Coast Air Quality Management District regulations in Orange County to limit hazardous air pollutant emissions and reduce our environmental footprint. Proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste are essential to our operations.

They include local and community routes, express routes, and our Stationlink service that connects Orange County Metrolink stations with major employment centers. Download the system map to see OC Bus' entire network. You can find all the routes on our system map.

OCTA publically offers free data feeds to developers. These resources are to encourage community building and contributions by having developers utilize our transit information for the production of useful web services. Currently, we provide feeds in GIS Data format and Google Transit Feed Format.
