Public feedback this summer will help shape draft alternatives and a final feasibility report expected in 2026. A separate effort led by the state will look at solutions beyond the next 30 years, including potentially moving the rail line inland in south Orange County.

Route 29 does not serve Goldenwest Transportation Center from 6:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Customers who are granted subscription service can enjoy the convenience of having their trips automatically scheduled without having to call the OC ACCESS Reservation Line to schedule each trip. Same-Day Service OC ACCESS offers a premium Same-Day service to OC ACCESS-eligible riders to and/or from any address in Orange County.

“We appreciate the State agencies understanding that OCTA needs to take emergency action to help ensure the ongoing safe operation of the rail line and prevent additional disruptions of service and damage to critical rail infrastructure,” said OCTA Chair Doug Chaffee, also Orange County’s Fourth District Supervisor.

OCTA funds and supervises Orange County service on Metrolink, the regional rail system offering weekday and weekend service to employment and activity centers. Three Metrolink lines operate in Orange County, including the Orange County Line, the Inland Empire- Orange County Line and the 91 Line.
