In Orange County, there are three lines and 11 convenient stations to serve you whether you’re commuting or embarking on a weekend adventure. Plan your trip by selecting an origin and destination station. Learn how to connect to Amtrak using our Rail2Rail Program.

Amtrak Pacific Surfliner will continue to operate modified service between San Luis Obispo and San Juan Capistrano, as well as between Oceanside and Downtown San Diego. Bus connections will be provided between Irvine and Oceanside. Passengers are being directed to www.pacificsurfliner.com/alerts for schedule information and updates.

Only Metrolink Monthly Pass holders may travel on Orange County Line Amtrak Service at no additional cost as part of the Rail 2 Rail® Program. Blackout dates may apply; schedules are subject to change. For details, visit metrolinktrains.com/rail2rail. Bicycles require a paid Amtrak ticket with reservation.

Full service, every day of the week, is set to resume on Monday from San Diego to Orange County and destinations further north. A bus connection between Oceanside and Irvine will no longer be required.

The LOSSAN Rail Corridor also includes BNSF Railway and Union Pacific Railroad freight trains, and parallels congested stretches of Interstate 5 and Highway 101, making it vital to the region’s transportation system.

In Orange County, OCTA’s Metrolink rail service has 11 stations from Buena Park to San Clemente. Metrolink's interactive system map will help you find the nearest station to your home and destination. You can also use our trip planner to fine-tune your trip.

Southbound Pacific Surfliner trains 562 (morning) and 784 (evening), as well as northbound Pacific Surfliner trains 765 (morning) and 587 (evening), will be fully reinstated without bus connections.

Commuter train service between Oceanside and San Diego and intermediate stations. Passengers must have a valid ticket prior to boarding the train. Tickets may be purchased at Oceanside Transit Center Customer Service, or at vending machines located at each station with cash, credit or debit card.
