The transformative project between SR - 57 and SR - 55 will reduce congestion , improve travel times and provide safer conditions for drivers , cyclists , and pedestrians .

The SR - 91 Improvement Project , scheduled to break ground soon , will improve 5 . 6 miles of SR - 91 through Anaheim , Fullerton , Orange , Yorba Linda and Placentia .

The project will improve mobility throughout the corridor by making operational improvements that will reduce weaving and merging between ramps and interchanges . The project cost is $ 779 million and is funded by Federal , State and Local sources .

Freeway and ramp lane reductions and closures for the I - 5 South County project . The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues .

Segment 2 – SR - 55 to SR - 57 . Work in this segment includes adding a new eastbound regular lane and reconstructing the bridges at Glassell Street / Kraemer Boulevard and Tustin Avenue . The bridges will have standard - width lanes , shoulders , sidewalks and bike lanes in each direction .
