The Metrolink Holiday Toy Express will appear at 10 stations and includes a free show starring Santa and Mrs. Claus and featuring a live singing and dancing cast and a train decorated with more than 50,000 colorful lights.

Metrolink, in coordination with the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), constructed a temporary catchment wall adjacent to the San Clemente Pedestrian Beach Trail bridge to prevent landslide debris from obstructing the rail line.
The OCTA and Metrolink team continues to work to resume safe passenger rail service as soon as possible. Over the past three years, San Clemente’s eroding bluffs – on both city and private property – have repeatedly forced the closure of the rail line which has operated largely uninterrupted for more than 125 years.
On October 21, 2024, Metrolink implemented a service change that affects connections to OC Bus Routes 26, 453, 472, 473 and 480. To help passengers make their connections, OC Bus is providing additional service on these routes that will be in place until the OC Bus November 10, 2024, service change.
The $10 Weekend Day Pass is valid on Metrolink system-wide on Saturday or Sunday. The final weekend IEOC Line train from Oceanside to San Bernardino has also been adjusted and will leave three hours later to allow visitors more time to explore the coastal destination. Many existing Metrolink routes have been shifted slightly earlier or later to more effectively space service throughout the day.
