ORANGE – As crews continue to push ahead on emergency efforts to reinforce the most vulnerable areas along the rail line in San Clemente, the Orange County Transportation Authority received additional approvals from the California Coastal Commission to advance more work.

The Goods Movement Vision Study is a strategic planning effort led by the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) to evaluate current goods movement conditions, identify key issues and opportunities, and develop a long-term vision for more efficient, sustainable, and reliable freight movement throughout the county.

At the heart of OCTA’s bus system is our network of 60 bus routes. They include local and community routes, express routes, and our Stationlink service that connects Orange County Metrolink stations with major employment centers.

ORANGE – Crews made significant progress this week in the ongoing emergency work to stabilize the coastal rail line in San Clemente, which is scheduled to remain closed to passenger rail service for approximately five more weeks.

Avoid driving and parking hassles and enjoy all Orange County has to offer with free summer shuttles. Many shuttles connect to each other and to transit and Metrolink stops, making it easier to travel to great destinations without a car. These transportation services are partially funded by Measure M, which puts tax dollars to work locally.
