The LOSSAN rail corridor is the only rail connection between areas north of San Diego County and San Diego County, including military operations in Southern California. The LOSSAN rail provides transportation for passengers daily and supports over $1 billion in annual commercial freight movement.

Metrolink Stations provide rail and bus connections. Stationlink routes provide a link between train stations and major employment/activity centers and are designed to meet selected trains.
