The 12-mile study area along Harbor Boulevard spans five cities in central Orange County from Santa Ana to Fullerton. Harbor Boulevard is home to the area’s most heavily used transit routes, OC Bus Route 43 and OC Rapid route 543, which together account for more than 10,000 daily boardings and 8% of all OCTA riders.

Measure M is a program funded by a 30-year one half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements in Orange County from 2011 through 2041. Nearly one third, or 32 percent, of Measure M is dedicated to improving local streets and roads.

The project will modify existing on- and off- ramps and add bike lanes and curb ramps in each direction of Katella Avenue to enhance safety and traffic flow.
