OCTA is continuing to develop its 2022 Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), which creates a vision for Orange County’s transportation system through 2045 while taking into account expected growth in population, housing and employment.. OCTA updates its LRTP every four years to help meet the county’s evolving transportation needs for the next 20 years and beyond.

On March 29, transportation leaders and elected officials marked the completion of a $230 million improvement project that relieves traffic congestion and enhances safety for tens of thousands of daily commuters traveling Interstate 5 through San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano and Dana Point.

More than 80 riders biked 4 miles from the Orange Metrolink Station to OCTA headquarters as part of OCTA’s annual bike rally in support of active transportation.
