ORANGE – The Orange County Transportation Authority’s Taxpayer Oversight Committee will hold its 30th annual public hearing to ensure that Measure M, the county’s half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements, also known as OC Go, is being delivered as promised to Orange County voters.

Orange County Metrolink Passengers: Metrolink trains will operate on a Sunday schedule for the following observed holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. StationLink trips that connect with these trains will not operate on these days.

Funding Programs OCTA is responsible for programming local, federal, and state-sourced funds towards projects that will improve transportation in Orange County.

Project Overview The I-605/Katella Avenue interchange is heavily used by motorists to reach employment centers, recreational attractions, shopping malls, medical centers, universities, and airports. The project will modify existing on- and off- ramps and add bike lanes and curb ramps in each direction of Katella Avenue to enhance safety and traffic flow.

The Central Coast Layover Facility project, which lays the groundwork for improvements in rail travel along California’s Central Coast, reached another milestone with recent site inspections and evaluations that will kick off engineering and environmental clearance processes.
