Mr. Andrew Hamilton called the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Taxpayer Oversight Committee (TOC) Audit Subcommittee (AS) special meeting to order at 4:03 p.m. Approval of the Minutes for May 14, 2024 motion was made by Mr. Naresh Patel, seconded by Mr. Hamilton, and carried unanimously, to approve the May 14, 2024, TOC AS minutes.

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) will award to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder with available inventory. The award of items identified on this solicitation may be split between Bidders based upon the overall benefit to OCTA. Best warranty terms may influence award results.

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), in cooperation with Caltrans, is improving the local interchange at Interstate 605 (I-605) and Katella Avenue. The project will enhance safety and traffic flow by modifying existing on- and off-ramps, making improvements on Katella Avenue, and improving bicycle and pedestrian facilities.

More green lights Orange County's population is expected to increase 13 percent by 2035, and that means more drivers on our roadways. To ease growing traffic demands, OCTA, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the County of Orange and all 34 cities are working together to coordinate traffic lights across the county.

All nine community colleges in Orange County are now on board the College Pass Program. The College Pass, a shared-cost program that allows enrolled community-college students to travel free on any OC Bus fixed route, helps students access higher education, employment and recreational opportunities across Orange County.

OC Bus will honor Metro monthly bus passes, MTA TAP and MTA TAP cards with EZ sticker at all bus stops along the line on the seven OC Bus routes that serve Los Angeles County (1, 30, 38, 42, 46, 50 and 60) or at bus stops where OC Bus directly connect with Metro buses. NOTE: TAP cards are not accepted as transfers on Rapid Route 529 or 560.
