Measure M Progress Report 2005 Measure M is a 20-year program for local transportation improvements funded by a half-cent sales tax approved by Orange County voters in 1990. Since then, Measure M funds have been invested in Orange County’s freeways, streets and transit system.

Measure M is a program funded by a 30-year one half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements in Orange County from 2011 through 2041. Nearly one third, or 32 percent, of Measure M is dedicated to improving local streets and roads.
