Since 1991 OCTA has kept residents and commuters moving throughout Orange County by bus, freeway, rail, bike, walking, and rideshare programs. Our projects and programs improve safety and efficiency on our local roads, provide bus service and regional multimodal connections, help people find ways to leave their cars home, and provide safe, convenient transportation to those with special needs.

Bus Service Change Improvements – Efective May 11, 2025 The Bus Service Change Improvements provide a summary of adjustments to OC Bus. To improve service quality and reliability, changes include the extension of Route 553 from ARTIC to Disneyland Resort along Katella Ave. and Harbor Blvd., schedule adjustments to better serve summer beach trafic and minor schedule changes to reduce wait times.

Through various calls for projects, the OCTA makes state, federal and local funding available to the 34 incorporated cities and the County of Orange. Depending on eligibility, local agencies and organizations are also welcomed to apply, but must go through one of the 34 incorporated cities or county.
