The OCTA Board of Directors is comprised of 18 individuals that represent Orange County. Specifically, 17 Board members govern OCTA with the Caltrans District Director serving as the 18th member in an ex-officio capacity.

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is a state-mandated, multi-modal transportation agency in Orange County, California. OCTA regulates, prioritizes, funds, plans, designs, builds, operates, and maintains the transportation network.

OCTA’s list of eligible projects will be submitted for grants from the estimated $18 million per year that will be provided to Orange County for new transit funding.

OC Bus will add the additional weekday bus trips highlighted in yellow below to help passengers make their bus connections until the OC Bus November 10 , 2024 service change .

Orange County has 12 Metrolink stations served by three lines – Orange County ( OC) Line , Inland Empire Orange County ( IEOC ) Line , and 91 / Perris Valley ( 91 / PV ) Line . Metrolink service relies on an operating subsidy , which OCTA funds through Measure M2 ( M2 ). While still below pre - pandemic levels , ridership continues to improve quarter - over - quarter .
