Passenger rail service, including Metrolink and Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, is scheduled to resume through South Orange County on Saturday, June 7, following emergency efforts to reinforce the most vulnerable areas along the rail line in San Clemente.

The Orange County Transportation Authority, in coordination with Metrolink, is working to stabilize railroad tracks in south San Clemente.
While these efforts are underway, OCTA, working with Metrolink as the primary rail operator, has been responding – and will continue to respond – to the city’s bluff failures and addressing them on an emergency basis to limit rail service disruptions.
Telework is now an expected and in-demand working arrangement in Orange County and across the nation. OCTA offers complimentary, customized assistance to Orange County employers to develop or formalize their telework programs.
