OCTA’s vehicles operate on streets and highways maintained by the county’s 34 cities, the county itself, and the California Department of Transportation. OCTA bus stops are on city and county property, as are the sidewalks, crosswalks, and bike routes that provide access to them. Transit hubs are mostly the property of other public agencies.

Construction of the OC Streetcar is moving forward and is now 90 percent complete. Major work is continuing on the OC Streetcar’s Maintenance and Storage Facility (MSF) in Santa Ana. The OC Streetcar vehicles are being manufactured by Siemens in northern California and will be delivered to the MSF and stored there.
