  • Enjoying a day at the beach is the perfect excuse to ride Metrolink. Head down to San Clemente and you'll have your pick of two stations. If you want some quiet and solitude, exit at the North Station. It is a quiet spot with a wide stretch of beach. If you want to play in the sand and stroll the historic wooden pier, exit at the Pier Station. Either way, it is a great way to dig your toes in the sand.

    The Beach | North Station

Metrolink puts you so close to the beach that the tracks are almost touching the sand. Just walk to the southern end of the station’s parking lot where you can safely cross over to the sand and find your spot.
