The I-5 South County Improvements Project is on track to be completed in early 2025. More than $24 million was disbursed to cities through the Local Fair Share program that provides funding to repair roads and streets and improve pedestrian safety.

On July 8, 2024, the Board of Directors approved the release of a request for proposals to select a firm to provide paratransit and microtransit software. Proposals were received in accordance with the Orange County Transportation Authority’s procurement procedures for professional and technical services. Board of Directors’ approval is requested to execute an agreement for this software.

Applications are due by May 31, 2025 and selection is competitive. Applicants must be 13 to 18 years old as of Sept. 1, 2025, reside in Orange County, and be entering grades 9 to 12 at an Orange County public or private school.
