The Orange County City Selection Committee met earlier this month to appoint five members to the OCTA Board of Directors. Yorba Linda Mayor Gene Hernandez, currently serving as OCTA’s Chairman of the Board, was re-selected to continue serving with OCTA.

The OCTA Board of Directors unanimously selected Doug Chaffee to serve as the Chairman of the Board at its meeting on Jan. 13, 2025. Chaffee, who is also the Fourth District Supervisor for Orange County, replaces outgoing Chair Tam T. Nguyen, who remains on the Board as one of two public members.
