$81.3 million worth of improvements open to traffic Sept. 4 and include realigned and widened bridge over the I-5 freeway. IRVINE – Improvements to the Ortega Highway Interchange at the San Diego (I-5) Freeway in San Juan Capistrano totaling more than $81 million are nearing completion and are expected to open to traffic on Friday, Sept. 4.

In addition, one companion is permitted to accompany an OC ACCESS customer and is required to pay $3.60 for each one-way trip. 2025 Call for Projects As of 3/10/ 2025 vi . I. Overview On November 6, 1990, Orange County voters approved Measure M, a 20year half- cent - local transportation sales tax. All major transportation improvement projects and programs included in the original Measure M have been completed or are currently underway.
