One of southern California’s favorite family-friendly gatherings, the San Clemente Ocean Festival will return on July 18 and 19 with water-sports competitions, great food, a sand sculpting contest and much more.
This technology, which went live at the crossing on June 1, 2024, creates a better experience for drivers and pedestrians while increasing safety for Metrolink passengers and the San Juan Capistrano community.
Those who live near Fullerton can start the fun on July 19 at an OCTA event at the Fullerton Transportation Center featuring free Metrolink tickets for the first 50 people, great food and music. The party starts at 8:30 a.m. and continues until everyone hops on the 9:23 a.m. train to San Clemente Pier.
Please note that weekday Metrolink service does not stop at the San Clemente Pier Station; however, four Metrolink Orange County Line trains and two Inland Empire Line trains stop in each direction on the weekends (12 total stops).
