Orange County has three NRT trails, including the Aliso Creek Trail, the Mountains to Sea Trail (Peters Canyon Bikeway/Trail and Back Bay Loop Trail), and the Santa Ana River Trail. Walking or biking these trails is a great way to get out and enjoy Orange County, and the contest provides an extra incentive.

ORANGE – The Orange County Transportation Authority recently completed a triennial review with the Federal Transit Administration, which had “no findings” for improvements. Every three years, the FTA completes a thorough review of transit operations for compliance with federal requirements and best practices.

Orange County residents can now enjoy more reliable and frequent trips on the Amtrak® Pacific Surfliner®. In late October, the Los Angeles – San Diego – San Luis Obispo (LOSSAN) Rail Corridor Agency, which manages the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner service, implemented one of the largest schedule adjustments for the Pacific Surfliner in years.

Orange County residents in the First, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Supervisorial Districts are eligible to apply. The First District consists of the cities of Cypress, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, Westminster, a portion of Garden Grove and the unincorporated communities of Midway City and Rossmoor.
