Construction of the OC Streetcar project reached a milestone recently as crews placed the final steel beam on the building that will house the streetcar vehicles.. Representatives from OCTA and The Walsh Group signed the final beam that was then lifted to the top of the building along with an American flag and a tree (a construction tradition) and secured into place at the top of the building.

The Project includes improvements along the coastal rail line corridor that focus on maintenance and fortification of existing facilities as well as sand nourishment. The Project is located along the railroad right-of-way within the Orange Subdivision of the Los Angeles-San Diego-San Luis Obispo Rail Corridor
