On October 11, 2021, the Orange County Transportation Authority Board of Directors approved the distribution of $10.931 million of Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act funds to the Orange County local agencies for local streets and roads rehabilitation and maintenance projects through the 2021 Pavement Management Relief Funding (PMRF) Program.
The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is developing the 2024 OC Transit Vision Master Plan (OC Transit Vision), a 30-year plan aimed to integrate, enhance, and expand multimodal transportation services in Orange County. This May through July, OCTA is asking the public which of the top 12 OC transit corridors are most important to them.

Effective May 11, 2025. The Bus Service Change Improvements provide a summary of adjustments to OC Bus. To improve service quality and reliability, changes include the extension of Route 553 from ARTIC to Disneyland Resort along Katella Ave. and Harbor Blvd., schedule adjustments to better serve summer beach traffic and minor schedule changes to reduce wait times.
