Board Actions - 7/28/2025 Areas 1 and 2: Riprap Repairs All riprap repair have been completed under an emergency Coastal Development Permit issued by the California Coastal Commission. Area 3: Catchment Wall Construction is expected to begin soon on a 1,350-foot-long catchment wall, which has been approved by the California Coastal Commission.

That includes accelerated construction on several major projects led by the Orange County Transportation Authority, including the $1.9 billion I-405 Improvement Project on 16 miles between Costa Mesa and the border with Los Angeles County, the 4.1-mile OC Streetcar in Santa Ana and Garden Grove, and improvements along Interstate 5 in south and central Orange County.

Bus Service Change Improvements – Efective May 11, 2025 The Bus Service Change Improvements provide a summary of adjustments to OC Bus. To improve service quality and reliability, changes include the extension of Route 553 from ARTIC to Disneyland Resort along Katella Ave. and Harbor Blvd., schedule adjustments to better serve summer beach trafic and minor schedule changes to reduce wait times.
