Efective August 13, 2023 The Bus Service Change Improvements provides a summary of the upcoming service improvements to OC Bus. This service change will provide minor route and schedule changes that include adding new trips or adjusting trips to make better connections, as well as the discontinuation of iShuttle Route 402C.

In December 2023, OCTA opened the 405 Express Lanes to provide a 14-mile free-flowing, congestion-free travel option. These managed lanes are part of the I-405 Improvement Project, which brought transformative improvements to a 16-mile stretch of I-405 between Costa Mesa and the Los Angeles County line.
