SUBJECT: Invitation for Bids (IFB) 4-2097 “Construction of Transit Security and Operations Center” Ladies/Gentlemen: This letter and its attachment comprise Addendum No. 3 to the above captioned Invitation for Bids issued by the Orange County Transportation Authority (“Authority”). 1.

The Orange County Transportation Authority has prepared this checklist as a reminder of the documents required to be submitted with the bid. These documents must be complete, fully executed, notarized where appropriate as required in the bid documents in order to render the bid responsive.

Metrolink continues to pursue new and emerging technologies to improve system performance and provide seamless and safe commuting experiences for passengers and the communities throughout Southern California in which Metrolink trains operate.

The grant helps fund three roundtrips between Los Angeles and San Diego with stops in six cities in Orange County. The OC Vanpool Program offers commuters an alternative to driving alone along with monthly subsidies and assistance in forming these super carpools.

Orange County is home to 12 Metrolink stations currently serving residents and commuters for employment, education, and pleasure-based trips. These stations serve diverse destination and trip origination needs.

The Orange Freeway (SR-57) from Lambert Road to Tonner Canyon Road is an important truck route and an integral part of Southern California’s freeway network.

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) does not offer or guarantee specific quantities for service work. Award will be based on lowest, responsive, and responsible quote.
