The project will add one carpool lane in each direction on I-5, add auxiliary lanes where needed, improve interchanges (including reconstruction of Avenida Pico), and add soundwalls ere needed. To make the needed improvements, OCTA and Caltrans are working closely with the following cities: San Clemente, Dana Point, and San Jua

OC ACCESS is a shared-ride service that is available to qualified applicants whose physical or cognitive limitations prevent them from utilizing the regular OC Bus fixed-route service.

These funds, along with other state and federal grants provided by OCTA, are helping to enhance safety, reduce congestion, expand mobility options, reduce transportation-related pollution, and create innovative solutions in San Juan Capistrano.

Along with the county, the cities receiving project funds are Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Irvine, Mission Viejo, Orange, San Clemente and Santa Ana.
