OVERVIEW Interstate 5 (I-5) is essential to Orange County’s mobility, economy and quality of life. Every day more than 275,600 motorists drive this segment of I-5, through the cities of Irvine and Tustin, to reach residential, commercial, educational and employment destinations.

Orange County’s bike paths and bikeways provide residents and visitors with a healthy and enjoyable recreational activity. Stretching throughout the county, bicyclists can enjoy miles of scenic riding. OCTA, along with individual cities and the county, is working to expand Orange County bikeways into a viable commuting alternative as part of Orange County’s balanced transportation system.
