Public Outreach Services for South Coast Rail Infrastructure Feasibility Study

Replacement of Light Poles and Luminaires at Goldenwest Transportation Center

Summary:This project added a carpool lane (approximately 2.5 miles) in both directions of I-5 between PCH and San Juan Creek Road in the cities of Dana Point, San Clemente, and San Juan Capistrano and reconstructed the on- and off-ramps at PCH/Camino Las Ramblas. Construction began on December 20, 2013, and was officially completed on July 3, 2018.

Hennessey served as the OCTA board’s vice chair for the last year. He replaces outgoing Chairwoman Lori Donchak, a San Clemente City Councilwoman, who remains on the board.

Creek Road. The project will add one carpool lane in each direction on I-5, add auxiliary lanes where needed, improve interchanges (including reconstruction of Avenida Pico), and add soundwalls ere needed.
