STATE LEGISLATIVE PLATFORM 2023-24 The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) was formed in 1991 by the consolidation of seven separate transportation agencies. This consolidation created a multimodal authority, which eliminated duplicate transportation functions and increased eficiency in providing transportation services throughout the County.
OC Streetcar’s 4.15-mile route will connect to existing rail and bus routes in Orange County and beyond, including the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center that serves Metrolink and Amtrak travelers throughout Southern California.

As part of the extended outreach, public access venue locations were identified to assist with supplemental outreach and included senior and community centers in every city throughout the county. Bundles of post cards were mailed to these locations with requested placement in areas of high traffic volume for public viewing.
