Since 2008, most of the recommendations from the original study have been implemented or are underway, including OCTA’s recently completed Interstate 5 (I-5) carpool lane project between San Juan Creek Road and Avenida Pico, and the I-5 widening between State Route 73 (SR- 73) and El Toro Road, which is under construction.
