The Goods Movement Vision Study is a strategic planning effort led by the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) to evaluate current goods movement conditions, identify key issues and opportunities, and develop a long-term vision for more efficient, sustainable, and reliable freight movement throughout the county.

The Orange County Transportation Authority, in coordination with Metrolink, is working to stabilize railroad tracks in south San Clemente.

Initiated an emergency construction project to stabilize the railroad track through southern San Clemente in an efort to safely restore passenger rail service. Continued the public input process on OCTA’s 2022 Long-Range Transportation Plan, which is conducted every four years to define a vision for the way people move in Orange County.
