Overview The Orange County Transportation Authority proposes to enter into a design-build cooperative agreement with the California Department of Transportation to establish roles, responsibilities, and funding obligations for the Interstate 405 Improvement Project.

The project is being constructed in three segments, with construction beginning in April 2025 for Segment 1 - SR-91/Lakeview Avenue Interchange. To maintain the safety of the traveling public and construction crews, slow down and stay alert while traveling through the Project area.

Nighttime construction work will continue next week on the northbound and southbound Santa Ana Freeway (I-5) in Buena Park from the Riverside Freeway (SR-91) to Artesia Blvd. which requires closing all lanes.
