Since 1991 OCTA has kept residents and commuters moving throughout Orange County by bus, freeway, rail, bike, walking, and rideshare programs. Our projects and programs improve safety and efficiency on our local roads, provide bus service and regional multimodal connections, help people find ways to leave their cars home, and provide safe, convenient transportation to those with special needs.
The Request for Project Extension or Scope Change form is used when the implementing agency is unable to complete the approved project scope as programmed due to cost increases or schedule delays. This Request Form is intended to support OCTA and awarded agencies deliver projects in a timely manner so that agency service levels are maintained and any new services are delivered.
The I-5 South County Improvements Project is on track to be completed in early 2025. More than $24 million was disbursed to cities through the Local Fair Share program that provides funding to repair roads and streets and improve pedestrian safety.
The most recent Tier 1 Grant Program call for projects (call) was finalized by the Board on October 14, 2024, with the approval of $3,712,423 in ECP funds for 11 Tier 1 Grant Program project applications (based on the scoring criteria).
