With its year-round good weather and range of roadways and trails, Orange County is a great place to ride a bike. To help keep riders safe and informed, OCTA recently updated its comprehensive OC Bikeways Map. The map features new bikeways added since 2020 and clearly indicates the four classes of bikeways and in some cases their elevations.

Next 10 Plan Deliverables To help improve mobility in Orange County over the next ten years, the deliverables are categorized by mode below. The progress of the Next 10 Plan will be reported every quarter as part of the M2 Quarterly Report.

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is developing the 2024 OC Transit Vision Master Plan ( OC Transit Vision), a 30-year plan aimed to integrate, enhance, and expand multimodal transportation services in Orange County.

The Youth Ride Free program allows Orange County youth ages 6 to 18 to ride all OC Bus fixed-route service for free for travel to school, work or fun. New passes and parental request forms are required and are available from participating Orange County schools.

Project Details SR-55 is a vital north-south freeway that links central Orange County and beyond to the coastal region. More than 260,000 vehicles use this stretch of SR-55 every day, and that number is expected to grow to nearly 275,000 vehicles by 2040. To address this demand, OCTA and Caltrans are working together to deliver improvements to SR-55 between I-405 and I-5.
