Measure M, is a 30-year one half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements in Orange County from 2011 through 2041. After experiencing the success and progress of the original Measure M, nearly 70 percent of voters renewed the half-cent sales tax in 2006.

OCTA’s Bus Pass Sales Retail Vendor and Distributor Program provides convenient locations throughout Orange County for bus riders to purchase their passes.

For your comfort and the good of all, we’re testing two types of zero-emission buses to see which is the best for Orange County. Thoughtfully customized for superior comfort and convenience, these sleek, quiet electric buses deliver rides that are, quite simply, among the best in the country.

You can pick up your pass along with your groceries at your local Orange County Ralphs, Northgate and Vons supermarket. Not all pass types are sold at every location. Please check with the retailer about the pass you want to purchase.

With nearly 60 routes and more than 5,400 stops, OC Bus is a great way to get around Orange County making it a convenient option for anyone who wants to travel within the region. More importantly, we constantly monitor our bus service to ensure safe transportation for all our riders. You can use the Transit App to track your child's bus in real time, anywhere in the county.
