Background: Passenger rail service through San Clemente was suspended beginning April 28 to allow for crews to safely conduct emergency work to reinforce sections of track at immediate risk from landslides and coastal erosion. To improve service quality and reliability, changes include the extension of Route 553 from ARTIC to Disneyland Resort along Katella Ave. and Harbor Blvd., schedule adjustments to better serve summer beach trafic and minor schedule changes to reduce wait times.
