The program began Monday, Aug. 23 at the start of the Irvine Valley College fall semester, allowing full-time and part-time students access to unlimited rides on all OC Bus local routes. The Savings Pass offers more ride for less money. Through December 23, 2023, OC Bus riders can save up to $10 on a five-pack of 1-day passes and up to $29 on a 30-day pass. For a limited time, the Savings Pass is available with the OC Bus App, at select retailers and at the OC Store and online.

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Youth Ride Free Program is available for the 2024-25 school year. A new pass is required along with a new parental request form. Using the new pass, Orange County youth ages 6 to 18 can ride OC Bus for free for travel to school, work or fun all year long.
