To address current and future traffic demand, OCTA is improving I-5 from north of Interstate 405 (I-405) to State Route 55 (SR-55) in the neighboring cities of Irvine and Tustin as part of the I-5 Irvine Tustin Project. Interstate 5 (I-5) is essential to Orange County's mobility, economy and quality of life.
The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), in cooperation with the City of San Clemente, added lighting and replaced handrails at the San Clemente Pier Station, enhancing passenger safety.
