The Rail 2 Rail® program allows Metrolink Monthly Pass holders along the Orange and Ventura County corridors to travel on Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains within the station pairs of their pass at no additional charge, including Saturday and Sunday.

100 series trains travel via the Ventura County Line. 200 series trains travel via the Antelope Valley Line. 600 series trains travel via the Orange County Line. 700 series trains travel via the 91/Perris Valley Line. 800 series trains travel via the Inland Empire-Orange County Line.

Measure M is the county’s half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements, also known as OC Go. The OCTA board awarded $20.2 million to nine projects in the County of Orange, Santa Ana, Orange, Garden Grove, Irvine and Yorba Linda to improve and widen busy streets and intersections.

Buena Park train station built in 2007 is located near Dale Street and Lakeknoll Drive. The station has a 70-foot clock tower modeled after the one at Knott’s Berry Farm – which was inspired by the original at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Thruway bus connects to San &§ Joaquins trains at Bakersfield. Travel on this bus is reserved (o and must be part of an itinerary involving a train trip in one direction or the other. Also, the Los Angeles ticket office is open 30 minutes ahead of departure for night buses 5804 and 5818.
