The OCTA and Metrolink team continues to work to resume safe passenger rail service as soon as possible. Over the past three years, San Clemente’s eroding bluffs – on both city and private property – have repeatedly forced the closure of the rail line which has operated largely uninterrupted for more than 125 years.

The schedule includes service on the Antelope Valley Line, San Bernardino Line, Orange County Line, 91/Perris Valley Line and Inland Empire-Orange County Line. Trains will not operate on the Ventura County Line or the Riverside Line.

Both Metrolink and Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner will honor each other's tickets and passes to San Juan Capistrano for this event. Weekend Metrolink service south of San Clemente Pier is temporarily unavailable.

Passengers will be able to take advantage of free OC Bus and Metrolink rides for Earth Day on Tuesday, April 22 ORANGE – People looking to do their part on Earth Day to honor our planet should consider riding the bus – and they can do it for free.

The event begins at 4: 30 p.m. and continues with food, music and prizes until Angel Express trains depart at 5:10 and 5:50 p.m. to take fans to the official season opening game. By leaving the driving to the Angels Express, fans can score a stress-free ride to and from all Angels weeknight home games starting at 7:05 p.m.
