On October 21, 2024, Metrolink implemented a service change that affects connections to OC Bus Routes 26, 453, 472, 473 and 480. To help passengers make their connections, OC Bus is providing additional service on these routes that will be in place until the OC Bus November 10, 2024, service change.

The work is being completed in partnership with Metrolink as part of a $65.6 million project to replace the existing San Juan Creek bridge, originally constructed in 1917, enhancing safety and reducing maintenance costs.

Beginning Tuesday, July 1, 2025, Metrolink will introduce a pilot program with new, simplified fares which will differ from the passes and tickets you see on this page. Learn more about the new fares here.

Crews are continuing emergency work to stabilize the railroad track in San Clemente. The tracks began moving in September 2021 because of coastal erosion and an ancient landslide on the slope above the tracks that started sliding.

Metrolink provides a stress-free, car-free way for family and friends to travel together without the hassle of driving and parking in downtown LA. To encourage train ridership, OCTA is conducting a Lunar New Year celebration at Irvine Station on Saturday, Feb. 17 prior to the departure of the train to the parade.

In Orange County, OCTA’s Metrolink rail service has 11 stations from Buena Park to San Clemente. Metrolink's interactive system map will help you find the nearest station to your home and destination.

As part of its effort to provide safe, affordable transportation for all, Metrolink is offering a 50% discount on all tickets and passengers to customers with a California Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card. Mobility-4-All is a relaunch and rebrand of a September 2022 program that sold more than 80,000 tickets.

The $10 holiday discount will apply on Thanksgiving Day. The schedule includes service on the Antelope Valley Line, San Bernardino Line, Orange County Line, 91/Perris Valley Line and Inland Empire-Orange County Line. Trains will not operate on the Ventura County Line or the Riverside Line. Regular service will resume on Friday, November 27.

The San Clemente train station opened in 1995. It is located near Avenida Estacion and Calle Deshecha.The station is adjacent to San Clemente’s North Beach.
