Our goal is to keep traffic moving and reduce congestion by assisting with minor roadside repairs and removing disabled vehicles from the roadway. Best of all, FSP services are free to motorists.

OCTA has three standing citizens committees that are legislatively mandated and meet regularly, providing advice and input on OCTA’s activities. The Orange County Bicycle Coalition will host two three-hour courses as part of the CyclingSavvy program of American Bicycling Education Association. Truth & Techniques of Traffic Cycling will be offered on Oct. 16, followed by Train Your Bike on Oct. 17. Classes are in Irvine.

Since December 2022, the number of vanpools has increased more than 30 percent. Vanpools are required to operate only 12 days per month, making them ideal for hybrid schedules. The program reduces the cost of vanpool service for commuters by providing a subsidy each month for qualified groups.
