On Monday, October 25, 2021, almost all Metrolink train schedule times will change. Most of the changes are only a few minutes but several may shift up to 40 minutes. The goal with this schedule change is to make getting around the region easier by improving connection times to other Metrolink trains and public transportation services.

Ventura County Line: Six Metrolink trains including the return of weekday morning train 106 and evening train 123. Plus four codeshare Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains are now available to all Metrolink ticket holders – including on Saturday and Sundays.

Expansion of commuter market by providing timed connections to other lines. Riders can now transfer to other routes/lines within 15 minutes making it a true regional service. Proposed schedule aligns with LinkUS, 2028 Olympic Games Preparation, and SCORE projects.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 21, Metrolink is adding 32 weekday trains, accounting for a nearly 23% increase in service. The new schedule will also streamline connections between lines, making it easier for riders to navigate Metrolink’s six- county service area.

The wall construction schedule is still being determined but is anticipated to occur mostly behind those barriers to limit further disruption to passenger rail service.

Trains will not operate on the Ventura County Line or the Riverside Line. Regular service will resume on Friday, November 27.
